Sovereign Cash Management Introduction Government cash management is becoming a focus of a number of governments worldwide. We are finding that an increasing number
of countries are looking at their whole-of-government cash management regime with a need to integrate more closely with the domestic debt issuance program. Many of the governments seeking assistance
require an explanation of international practices. Unfortunately, there is a limited amount of information available publically on government cash management regimes. Our research has shown there is good information on the government websites in Australia, Canada and the USA. We are looking for other websites or other sources that may outline
government cash management regimes and potential new developments. As this is a very important function for government, we plan to build up a database of international practices with the goal of
turning this into a publication at some point. International Cash Management Practices
